Automation software innovation

i-LAN Smart Assembly is the result of research and development aimed at decoupling the management logic of processing stations, with their associated equipment, from the flow and configuration of operations that are performed on them.

Automation software can execute dynamically defined operating sequences from the line management supervision environment. However, to ensure a high level of resilience to failures, station automation maintains the ability to work in autonomous mode according to default work plans.

The station attendant is guided by clear guided conduct directions, and it is possible to manage either phase progress by objectification of completion or by manual confirmation by the operator.

The guided conduct automatically adjusts according to the sequence of operations received from the supervisory system.

In no way are aspects related to standard operating modes in the industrial automation world (degraded cycles, manual operation, setup modes) and machine and operator safety management compromised.

Finally, the automation system collects the information needed for component tracking activities and objectification of operations performed, so that it can be collected and sent toward the line supervision system.

Strengths

Establishing an assembly line requires high investment in materials and operational resources so that the set goals are achieved. In this context, frequently, having a control and supervision system that is rigid and able to support a limited range of production flows is the biggest obstacle toward a rapid return on investments made.

Production

The Production area encapsulates the functionality related to the plant’s production activity, organized according to the logical flow of manufacturing.

Here it is possible to know the status of each product being processed, accompanied by significant process measurement data and the outcomes of quality control systems.

Functions are, in addition, available to explore the production recipes used on the plant and auxiliary features related to integration with third-party software.

Monitoring

The monitoring area allows monitoring of production progress, real-time production progress is shown, breaking down production into different levels of detail.
