What is
It is a data monitoring and visualization system with the possibility of production flow control functions. SmartSight is a multi-user, multi-role application. This means that multiple users can be simultaneously connected to the system, each with their own level of access, depending on the privileges they were granted during registration.
What it offers
A comprehensive view of the production process and facilities, easily accessible and structured on multiple levels of detail, geared toward the various professionals involved in plant management.
In addition, SmartSight is integrated with business management systems, facilitating accounting reporting, raw material procurement, and scheduling of maintenance activities.
How it works
The system is connected with sensors, actuators and controllers found within the industrial manufacturing system, enabling data collection and processing operations aimed at plant and production flow monitoring, product traceability and operational performance analysis.
SmartSight is structured in a modular manner, supporting the possibility of expanding manufacturing systems, incorporating new analysis capabilities, and interconnecting with other production management systems inside or outside the company.
How it is structured
SmartSight users have total visibility into production facilities and processes. The information is clearly organized according to three main pillars:
Production
The Production area encapsulates the functionality related to the plant’s production activity, organized according to the logical flow of manufacturing.
In this area, it is possible to know the status of each product being processed, accompanied by significant process measurement data and the outcomes of quality control systems.There are, in addition, functions available for exploring the production recipes used on the plant and auxiliary functions related to integration with third-party software.
Monitoring
The Monitoring area is in turn divided into two groups of functions, the first dedicated to the analysis of production trends, the second dedicated to the visualization and analysis of measurement data collected in real time from production facilities, including, energy consumption.
In the first case, through graphical and tabular tools, production performance is shown in real time, breaking down production into different levels of detail.
In the second case, a set of graphical dashboards, which can be customized if necessary, is made available to the user, linked to all measurement and status information from the machinery and systems connected to the SmartSight system.
Performance
The Performance area is dedicated to the development and presentation of performance indicators (KPIs) designed to provide an immediate view of production performance.
These indicators can be adapted according to specific customer needs and are presented in graphical and tabular form, organized according to predefined or user-settable time intervals.
